On April 10, the Vietnam – Spain Business Summit took place in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together over 20 leading Spanish enterprises and senior government representatives from both nations. This forum marked a significant milestone in the growing strategic partnership between Vietnam and Spain, with a strong emphasis on bilateral investment, technology transfer, and cooperation in key sectors.

The event was honored by the presence of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who reaffirmed that Vietnam is Spain’s largest trading partner in ASEAN, praising its dynamic economic growth (over 7% in 2024) and stable sociopolitical climate.

Prime Minister Sánchez emphasized Spain’s ambition to expand its strategic presence in Asia, particularly in sectors like infrastructure, clean energy, tourism, and healthtech.

mjn-neuro x ITR – A Case Study in Cross-Nation R&D for Seizure Prediction

During the summit, Mr. Triet Luu – Co-Founder and Head of Firmware at ITR, represented Vietnam healthtech innovation community, sharing insights into an exciting collaboration between ITR and mjn-neuro.

This partnership, funded by CDTI Innovación – Spain’s Center for the Development of Technology and Innovation under the Multi-País program, focuses on developing the next-generation wearable EEG device for early seizure prediction.
